Last Friday we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet our affiliates who will be joining us on our snowboarding trip in Canada on the 23rd February and I must say it was an absolute pleasure. From left to right we have: Rich, Julie, Myself, Joe, Harvey & Jamie - Julian was behind the camera all afternoon so managed to escape without being photographed.
We kicked the afternoon off at Bam-Bou Resaurant which if you can handle a pair of chopsticks I thoroughly recommend. After a while of chasing my rice around the plate I gave up and used a knife a fork, Joe impressed us all with his new Iphone which had managed to navigate Harvey to the restaurant when he got lost using it's in-built sat nav, whilst Julian, Julie and Jamie concentrated on knocking back the wine...
After an enjoyable meal Rich demanded we move to a pub so he could continue his one man drinking crusade and ... well short of finding myself on a train going in the wrong direction to my home I don't remember much else, but i'm assured it was a great afternoon!
I obviously wasn't the only one feeling a little light headed, the quality of Julian's photography by the end of the afternoon speaks volumes:
In all seriousness it was a fantastic afternoon, everyone at IWOOT had a great time and we've had some positive feedback from Joe, Harvey, Jamie and Julie as well. Unfortunately Ian couldn't make the lunch meeting, however I look forward to meeting him and having what looks to be an excellent week in the snow.

Thanks again for lunch (and drinks awin!) - the beef with kow choi & shaoshing (from memory of course) was excellent, as was Julian's octopus!

We'll have to get some seriously dodgy photos of GIlian to make up for it. Cool photo though, we all look fairly respectable. What happened? ;)
