I always enjoy meeting all the lovely people at Affiliate Window, but being invited to their table at the A4U Awards was a real treat. So many many thanks for having me!.. I think I showed my gratitude by not spilling any wine on anybody.
It was great to see such a big event with hundreds of well-dressed guests, a top venue and a brilliant comedian, all skillfully organised by the A4U gang , it just shows how far the community has gone. But I felt the happiest people in the room were Affiliate Window who rather selfishly got 4 out of the 16 awards of the night! (Zak also started very strong, snatching the first couple of awards, but I think maybe this was due to him being closest to the host :P) For me the star of the night was Julie Wood, as she won the prestigious Publisher's Choice of Account Manager award - very well done, Julie, everyone at IWOOT is very happy for you! Somehow all this tells me that we're in with the right network.
So well done from everyone at I Want One Of Those to all the winners. All of you thoroughly deserve the recognition, fame and champagne. Thanks again for A4U too for the great night and hope we will meet again next year to do it all over again.
